Nic grew up in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, Dylan between KwaZulu-Natal and Botswana — landscapes that forged our characters and ignited a deep passion for the outdoors from childhood. School holidays meant epic camping trips, bush adventures, and learning to respect the wildlife, vast plains, and conservation heartbeat that make Africa legendary.

Our connection to the bush started early: dawn wake-ups to the roar of lions, thrilling game drives, and a growing commitment to protecting this extraordinary natural world. Those moments are etched in us forever.

We were also raised in the heart of a fiercely proud sporting culture. As fierce derby rivals at two of KwaZulu-Natal’s most storied schools — Nic at Michaelhouse and Dylan at Hilton College — sport was literally in our DNA. The iconic Michaelhouse vs Hilton rugby clashes (a rivalry stretching back over 200 matches since 1904, packed with drama, massive crowds, and future Springboks), intense cricket battles, golf outings, fishing expeditions, and braai weekends cheering on the Springboks or Proteas shaped us just as powerfully as our time in the wild.

To this day, we still trade friendly jabs about whose school reigns supreme — Michaelhouse or Hilton. Those heated debates, shared adventure stories, post-match banter, and the thrill of competition have always fueled our friendship. We love a good laugh, connecting with people, and creating memories through experiences that blend safari thrills with the electric atmosphere of live sport.

Dylan grew up immersed in world-renowned safari destinations across South Africa and Botswana, where a lifelong passion for wildlife took root. For over a decade, he’s guided in the luxury safari industry, mastering intimate, culturally rich experiences and tailoring journeys that perfectly match what discerning travelers crave.

Nic built his career managing key accounts for major corporations, honing skills in collaboration, exceeding client expectations, and delivering premium service. From a family steeped in hospitality and accommodation, he brings deep expertise in beach and coastal stays, especially along the stunning Western Cape and Cape Town coastlines — ensuring every itinerary flows seamlessly and exceeds expectations.
